OMG, can I tell you that there were SO many people at that game; over 18,000. I sang the National Anthem AND performed my newest single “Like Me” and “Emergency” for the Halftime show. The crowd went crazy and it was such a good feeling knowing I left the crowd happy. On to the next one!

Last Friday, I had my second radio interview with DJ Homie Marco on 98.5 The Beat to talk about my new single “Like Me” and my performances later that evening at the Spurs vs Mavs Playoff game. “Like Me” is getting great reviews and I can’t wait for the whole world to hear it. But for now, thank you to San Antonio, Corpus Cristi, Ft. Myers and all the other markets who are supporting my newest record.

I just had my first listening party at the Hot Beats studio in Atlanta and it was a huge success. Some of the industries heavy hitters made an appearance, along with photographers, writers, A&R’s, and of course FANS. BTW, every single one of my events ALWAYS involve food. Gotta love it!

Christina “CeCe” Segarra is used to the spotlight. The 20- year-old, former New York Knicks’ City Dancer and mem- ber of the Florida Marlins’ dance team, moved on from a life of dance to song after performing in front of thousands of fans during halftime routines for premiere franchises. Last year, the classical trained ballerina realized her true calling when she began to merge ballet with her love for pop mu- sic. The second generation Nuyorican, moved back to Mi- ami, FL and partnered with multi-platinum producer Robert “Big Bert” Smith (Michael Jackson, J.Lo, Jessica Simpson) to hone her skills as a singer/songwriter. Big Bert later in- troduced the songbird to the Miami-based label Weight Re- cords. And it wasn’t long before executives signed CeCe as the first pop act on the imprint. Currently, working on her as-yet-untitled debut, the bilingual signer has collaborated with some of music’s top producers including, The Run- ners (Akon), Chad Beatz (G-Unit) and Grammy Award win- ning writer Robert “EST” Waller (Beyonce). With her lead single “Outer Space” already receiving radio spins across the nation and the Gucci Mane assisted “Go Your Own Way” in tow, ULM caught up with CeCe as she reveals the soundtrack to her life.

Dubbed “The Princess of Miami” by super producer and Miami radio personality DJ Khaled, CeCe Segarra (www.CeCeSegarra.com) is poised to be the next “it” girl in music. Some major radio stations have already begun playing her single, “Go Your Own Way,” featuring Gucci Mane, which is already being predicted to be this year’s summer anthem.
