The multi-talented pop princess, CeCe Segarra is doing it big! CeCe started her career as a dancer for the New York Knicks, which has led her to her new career in singing and performing. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, CeCe has always aspired to be a singer. Now at the age of 20, CeCe is taking Miami by storm and she will certainly be making a SPLASH! Just recently be signed to Weight Records, CeCe has already been able to work with rap super star, Gucci Mane. Despite her tight schedule, CeCe was able to answer a few questions for Right On!

Christina Segarra – known as “CeCe” in the world’s musical landscape, has burst onto the scene with a splash. The second generation Puerto Rican from the Bronx, New York moved to Miami, Florida with her family at the ripe age of 15 years old. CeCe has proven to be the epitome of a true Miami native with a “New Yorican” heart. As a Hispanic-American, she represents the multi-faceted and multi-cultural generation of today in that she is a premier musical voice that embodies the essence of what a pop star could and should be; a representation of the melting pot of cultures that is America. The Latina songstress’ sweet and edgy vocals have defined a niche in a genre of pop music that is desired in today’s evolving music industry. The classically trained ballerina has geniously merged the two worlds of ballet and pop music, seamlessly becoming a smooth force to be reckoned with. From the tender age of 5, CeCe began expressing herself artistically through song and dance, affectionately becoming recognized as the “little girl with a big, sweet voice”. Within her community, people quickly took notice of her natural ability when it came to singing and performing for crowds, whether performing in talent contests, choreographing routines for her church dance team or leading the choir in song. Her family and friends have supported her from the start; her foundation in church has given her substance and faith.
